One Little Sister...Three Big Brothers

I don't even think beautiful describes this family! I had the absolute pleasure of photographing these four gorgeous children (oh, and their parents, too)! We had an awesome afternoon...maybe next time we raid the ice cream cooler!

Three Families, One Farm

Here in Minnesota, the days have shortened and the cold weather is starting to set in. However, that doesn't stop hearty Minnesotans from braving the cold north wind cutting through the farm to get their family portraits done. Thank you, Schlueter, Kittelsen & Weckman families, for having me. It was cold, but we survived!

The Schuette Family

As I'm editing these photos, I'm being reminded every minute that I need to be patient. My computer is going the slowest is could possibly go...and for me, that's not good at all. Seriously, I think I got a load of laundry washed, dried, folded and put away all the while my computer is laughing at me while it's saving ONE file! I have to say, though, the outcome was well worth the test of patience! These kiddos are adorable! Thank you, Schuette family, for teaching me patience today...even if you didn't know you were doing it!

Little Miss Addison

There is something to be said about photographing a baby! What I have to say is that it's an absolute joy! This little one didn't want to sleep too much, so we seized our moments when we could. What we ended up with were beautiful photographs that mom & dad will cherish for years to come. Congratulations Shane & Jessica!

The Hagen Family

Despite the cooler temperatures and the breezes blowing from the north, we had a fun morning.

Hoese Generations

I was fortunate enough to be asked to photograph this beautiful family with grandpa's prized possession on the family homestead...a restored John Deere. What was even more fun was watching grandpa drive it out to the field and have the kids chasing behind...then climbing onto it and asking can I drive it, can I steer it, make it go faster grandpa.The smiles were priceless.

Naomi...Ava...Kieran

To my long lost BFF Julianne...thanks for finding me! Before we even get to the sneak peak of her beautiful children, I just have to share a some great photos from LONG ago when we were best friends...in Kindergarten! This photo was taken in when we were in 6th grade. We had moved away from each other after our first grade year, however kept in touch. We would visit each other a week at a time every summer...never letting one pass. As you will notice from the family photo below, I'm not in it. That's right! I'm taking the picture. So not to embarrass everyone else in the photo, I've added one of myself for your viewing (laughing) pleasure. Lots of great times...lots of great memories!

The Vacek Family

It was quite windy this day, so it did limit us a bit on where we could go. A block wall can do wonders to stopping the wind...and that's exactly what it did.

Thank you for putting up with the cold wind! The outcome, however, was great!

Little Mister Lucas

It was so much fun meeting this little guy! I finally had the chance to use this great vintage zoo fabric and the fabulous chartreuse green pillows! Not your every day color choice for little boys...but it looked great on him and mom loved it! By the way, I'm told the vintage deli scale is accurate...he was just weighed at the doctor coming in  slightly over 11.5 pounds!
