My Beautiful Niece Emma!

I am so blessed to live near to my sister...I couldn't ask for anything else! We are able to meet for coffee...a necessity to both our days if you ask either one of one, we can meet for lunch...although it doesn't happen often enough...we can just get together for dinner if need be. With the schedule of 7 children between the two of us, though, there's bound to be a conflict somewhere. Nonetheless, we still find time. Remember that whole "...time is fleeting..."? Well, this is all part of it! I was blessed to be able to take my niece Emma's confirmation photos. It was a little chilly that day, but we made it through. The sun was shining. What more could you ask for in Minnesota when there's still snow on the ground. What a beautiful young lady!!! I'm very proud of her!

I just can not get over all the great texture in this photo...brick wall, striped top, polka dot footstool, animal print shoes! I just LOVE it!!!

Mike & Amanda-Part 1

On military leave for only a short time, an engagement photo shoot needed to be done. The meeting place was picked, the time was set. Upon arrival to our destination, the sign on the door said "CLOSED"! Time to come up with Plan B quickly. Who knew antiques could be so much fun...a photo shoot in an antique store. Thank you to the owners of Vert in beautiful downtown Waconia for offering their store for a beautiful afternoon of capturing love in the air! Congratulations Mike & Amanda!
