I've Been MIA

Sorry for not keeping up with my blog. It's been a fun busy season and I look forward to a busy fall and winter as well. One thing I know for sure, I've been spending a lot of time with my family and loving every minute of it.

I know a lot of you come to this to view my work, to be inspired, or to just get ideas. You can still do that, just in a new location.

www.facebook.com/studio241

I'm working on a new website and hope to have that going in the new year. Until then, check out the above link and stay in touch with me! Find out what's happening with Studio 241! Make sure you "LIKE" Studio 241. Feel free to tag yourself and share any photos you like. Just remember to not crop out the watermark!

As always, drop an e-mail or give me a call to set up an appointment...or if you just want to chat! I love that too!

Little Miss Addison

 . . .B  E  A  U  T  I  F  U  L . . .
The only word that comes to mind to describe this little one!

I have so been enjoying the beautiful weather we've been blessed with this spring. I'm loving, even more, all the new families I've been able to meet. Here's just one of those families...thank you, Himlers, for a beautiful afternoon.

Last Minute Senior Session

Senior photos were already done, but a new haircut made for a totally different person. This 2012 Senior needed a new shoot and quick. It's never too late for great photos! Was so happy to help them out!

Little Mister Beckham

This little one gave both mom and I a workout. Not only did he NOT like having his clothing removed, he did NOT like to be put down. We had to get creative on this one. What a beautiful addition to this lovely family!
Congratulations Chris & Gina! He's beautiful!

Little Miss Paige

Every time I photograph this little girl, she puts a huge smile on my face. I'm not sure if it's the gorgeous full lips...those great chunky thighs...or her infectious laugh! What I do know, though, is that shes' one of a kind and I love her!

Little Miss Brooklyn

Where do the years go? We think our children are going to stay little forever and then we turn around and they're nine! This was the best girly-girl afternoon ever!

Little Mister Tyler

"...tough day at work! Let me tell you about it...first I just sat there not knowing what to do. Then mom grabbed my hands, so I thought I would try out some ballet moves. Enough of that...just let me look adorable for awhile. I thought I would try eating a flower but mom would have none of that. How about rolling around and laying on my belly. I mean, it's been a busy day..." I'm sure that's exactly what Tyler would say! Thanks for a great afternoon!

Latest Spool Projects

I feel absolutely blessed that I have all these creative outlets I get to share with others. If I'm not photographing newborns, then I'm sewing beautiful "diaper bags" for newborns. Actually, they are more for mom to carry. Dad's typically go to the local baby store and register or purchase that "all-american diaper bag" that we've all had. Mom's, however, come to me and say, "Please make me a diaper bag that I will actually enjoy carrying around...PLEASE!!!" Absolutely!!! These two turned out beautiful. The purple hues of one and the greens and blues of the other...gorgeous combinations!

Beautiful silk & micro-suede exterior with handles long enough to throw over your shoulder.

Fully lined zippered pocket extending the entire width of the bag...perfect for phone, keys, planner & wallet. Nothing gets lost among the baby items.

Extra exterior slip pocket for "quick-grab" items!

As with every "Spool No. 241" Tote...always spot clean or hand wash and line dry. Never use a hot iron as it could damage fine fabrics.

Small end pocket in coordinating fabrics for phone & keys...or baby's pacifier!

New design elements for 2012...tabbed handles and roll-over edging! Perfect way to blend the coordinating interior lining with the exterior.

As always...hand stamped leather tag made from recycled leather and vintage lettering tools! Love them!
